Greetings to all for  New Year,2021. Arrival of new year, pounds of expectations but I was rewinding the cassettes of my life to meet my brothers. It had been almost an year since I had met any of them, so as soon as I entered in the territories of these rangers two had escorted me with a very warm welcome and took me to the canteen(which was closed). Their main motive was to highjack the home-made puri sabji which they didn't get because we had already finished it up in train, henceforth we had to face the consequences which were lots and lots of praises(negative ones) and then we were taken to rooms where more such ravens were already rubbing their beaks. Here again, we recieved adoration of higher quality. After meeting everyone, we were still calling each other with same sobriquets. Biggest myth of 21st century -  "We are operating social media, actually we are being operated by social media." After " THE GREAT HACK"  netflix has come up with another creditable masterpiece " The Social Dilemma". The storyline of both of these documentary is based on the usage of social media where the former speaks of the cambridge analytica scandal while the latter comprehensively connects every bits and pieces of our life in relation to social media. The engineer of these giant tech companies has come forward to tell the world that what is really happening behind big big panes of those huge skyscrapers. First of all don't think that I am ranting about the overusage or addiction of  social media and sidelining its benefits. I am just trying to show that how much detrimental this social media can be. In this documentary it is explicity showed and told that how we are falling prey to these so called the best invention of 21st century. E...

Mad world,we live in Full of virtues and sin. Robe of innocence,culpables wear, While innocents tread in fear. Heed for flamboyant content, Turned our pristine heart malignant. Some are your white knight, With mind driven by spite. Single animal is kept sacred, Rest are left to live in dread. All are in state of omniscience, In a culture of moral ignorrance. Such a different place Framed by our conceit. Lets dissipate this haze In the air, we couldn't see. Shape this heaven as it has to be, With our works and wit.

Hans Rosling, a medical doctor and had also been an adviser to UNICEF. Ola & Ana Rosling, cofounders of Gapminder foundation. A father, his son and his daughter-in-law had given us an hopeful insight about the world. They showed us how the human progress had improved the lives of billions and is still improving. The work that I am talking about is FACTFULNESS. FACTFULNESS teaches us that how the human instinct has proved that world is becoming more and more problematic with the rising issues of terrorism, climate change, poverty, gender inequality, malnutrition, maternal mortality, etc, etc. but had failed to see the real progress that we had made. Don't think that this book just consists of plethora of statistics and data rather it provides you the reality of the world. Definitely, it contains stats but only to a certain level that even a layman is able to understand.  With years of acquantainces and travelling across the globe they had penned down their experience...

How can you hold yourself from not watching the movie of Eddie Redmayne and  Felicity Jones. After Theory of Everything, both actors again came together to give a spectacular performance and to unfold the life of meteorologists back in 1850s.  Being a geography student, I have an affinity for climate and  geography related movies and documentaries. I will try to keep this blog as lucid as possible and won't get into the technicalities of geography, will tell you about the epipahny that these two daredevils had breakthrough in the field of meterology. The way Eddie( James Glaisher) speaks and shows his emotion is splendid. Felicity( Amelia Wren) was just icing on the cake, her eyecatching performance will leave you dumbstruck. She along with James shows exactly what it takes to discover something which is considered as ludicrous in the eyes of so called 'sophisticated people' and  what happens when someone reaches the edge of tropopause (about 9km from ear...

This is the movie, I was looking for a long time. The " DEAD POETS SOCIETY " is one of the finest and brilliant masterpiece and if you have not watched it then it is totally worth of time, most importantly it is a must watch not just once but twice. This movie, as I realised is very well relateable to 3 idiots. This movie is about a most famous, excellent and disciplined schools in US where a bunch of teenagers were influenced by an affable teacher( Robin Williams as John Keating) who tries to teach his student  (just like Rancho in 3 idiots) that to "suck the marrow out of life". The students starts to learn the things with their own unique pace rather than caught up in system of 'uniformity and conformity'.   This movie appeals to the audience that to break all the shackles of life and live with an open mind.
